Riding in Style



We took a Friday evening ride in Big Grandpa's convertible. The girls liked it, but when we stopped, Winnie was sad. We asked her what was wrong, and she said, "I thought we were going to the circus." Wonder where she got that idea!

In Search of a Marching Band


Friday evening we could hear a marching band practicing, so we headed out in search of it. By the time we got over to Delaware Hayes, the band was wrapping up. The girls wanted to watch the drummers, but we only got to see the tubas practicing. They both kept saying, "What a horrible sound!"
