Winnie's 7th Birthday

Our Winnie turned 7 years old today! She is funny, friendly, thoughtful, sensitive, fit, unique, helpful, and musical. We love you very much!

She celebrated her special day by having Emma over to play.

Mark Nizer Show

Along with Grandma Lovie, we saw Mark Nizer's 4d light/juggling show at the Marion Palace Theatre.

Winnie's 7th Birthday Party

We celebrated Winnie's 7th birthday a week early. She had a science party that included experiments - which actually made for a quiet beginning.

Kit's 9th Birthday Party

Kit enjoyed her unicorn birthday party with friends and family. We served unicorn bark and other goodies, busted a unicorn pinata, and made unicorn hair bows. 

Kit's 9th Birthday

This girl turned 9 years old today! Kit is sweet, social, enthusiastic, lively, smart, sporty, jazzy, and helpful. We love you very much!

Daddy-Daughter Dance

Seth and the girls had a special time at the YMCA-sponsored Daddy-Daughter Dance at the OWU Student Center. The dance was going to be held the previous week, but it was delayed due to snow and ice. Kit and Winnie had fun dancing with Doc, getting a treat at the ice cream bar, having their nails done, and receiving flowers. Nicely done, Seth!

Sledding

We went sledding in the afternoon, and Seth & I took turns with the girls and Emerson (in the van). The hill at Alum Creek damn was quite steep, but the hill behind the house at the Delaware Career Center was just right.

Sleepover

Posted by Winnie: "Kit and Winnie had a sleepover. Rylan and Camdyn came over. Rylan wanted a salad for breakfast, and then everybody wanted pizza for breakfast. We played New York to Hollywood."

Nova's Birthday Party

We had a fun time at Nova's 8th birthday party at Zoomer's Skating Club in Marion. Kit has really gotten the hang of skating, and Winnie is coming along nicely. Emerson's little feet were jammin'!

Kit's New Year Practice

I went to get my journal and devotional this morning and found Kit had added her journal and one-a-day calendar to the drawer <3

New Year's Eve!

We had a great time at the Lubben's house on New Year's Eve. The kids had fun with the exception of tasting sparkling cider - they say "yuck" to that. It was fun meeting more neighbors, and we were amazed that we all made it to midnight.
