Christmas with the Jumps

We celebrated Christmas with the Jumps on Saturday and Sunday. How cute are Emerson and Bo together?! All of the kids have lots of fun at the gatherings.

Merry Christmas!

Joyous Christmas day! The girls were up first & went to check out how much Santa ate. Then we got Doc & the opening began. Emerson joined us a little later & had fun unwrapping and playing with new toys. A couple of times he told the girls, "Mine!" Our card from Winnie is a keepsake.

We hosted lunch for the Kaelbers, Zech, and Sheila. In the evening, we played Pimple Pete (gross!) and the girls built new Lego sets.

Christmas Eve

 

We enjoyed a simple Christmas Eve at home with crafts, games, slowly prepared meals & water balloons at bath time. The wonder of Christmas could be seen in the bright moon lighting the way in the darkness.

Snowball

We had so much fun with Snowball this year. He came Dec. 1 and stayed through Christmas Eve. Emerson learned his name quickly & was eager to find him every morning.

Ladies' Christmas

 

It's the most wonderful time of the year - a time for family.

Christmas Music

Winnie is playing Christmas music beautifully. We've been enjoying her play 2-hand pieces, including "Jolly Old St. Nicholas," "Jingle Bells," and "We Three Kings of Orient Are".

Christmas Goodies

Most weekends in December you can find us in the kitchen - making candy, snickerdoodles, homemade fries & more.

Fantasy of Lights

We made popcorn and hot chocolate and headed out to see lights in Cheshire Crossing, Glen Ross, and Alum Creek's Fantasy of Lights. Glen Ross had a special, synchronized light display as a fundraiser for research in honor of a child with a rare mitochondrial disease. The girls felt like (frozen) rock stars as they checked out the displays from the sunroof.

Lunch Out

We had a family lunch out at El Vaquero's in Westerville. Winnie and Emerson went for the lemons - repeatedly.

Winnie's 2nd Grade Musical

Winnie rocked her 2nd grade Christmas musical, "Crazy Carols," Thursday night. I had a proud momma moment on Friday morning when I overheard her telling Kit that she was proud that her friend (with special needs) did even better during the evening performance than the daytime show.

Cruiser Santa

The girls had fun when Cruiser Santa came to visit. He must have known they had fun on hopper balls at the fall festival this year.
