Indoor Trunk-or-Treat

Shale Meadows did an awesome job hosting trunk-or-treat indoors (due to rain). Gold star for all the teachers who worked an extra-long day!

Halloween Preparations

We have had fun preparing for Halloween. Emerson and I made a scarecrow for the porch. Winnie came up with a design concept for her "Death Wendy" costume.

Activities for E

Thank you to Grandma Jo and Grandpa for Dinosaur World to help keep Emerson busy. We enjoyed visiting them on Saturday!

Dad and Emerson installed a hoop in the garage on Sunday. We're also excited that a court is currently being installed at our neighborhood playground.

Lovers Key

We spent Sunday at Lovers Key State Park, soaking in the sun, floating in the gentle waves, hunting and identifying shells, exploring the nature center, and even spotting a manatee swimming under mangroves.

Fort Myers Beach & Cape Coral

The girls and I arrived at Jim and Amy's on Friday. We enjoyed the sunset on Fort Myers Beach, Porta Gorda's International Festival/lunch at Fisherman's Wharf, and hanging out in Cape Coral. Jim loaned the girls fishing gear, and Amy introduced them to Wonder Woman.

Good News

The best news came Friday morning from the ortho doc: Emerson's arm is healing just fine!

Invitation to Bronze Team

Winnie earned her way to the bronze team at COGC! She has the choice to compete this season or wait until the next. It's great to see her hard work paying off!

Volleyball Tournament, Part Two

Hyatts finished up in second place at day two of the tournament. Coach Michelle wrote me the following: "I have loved coaching Kit, and I think she has made so much improvement from the beginning of the season! I'm so glad she has been a part of our team. I love how hard she tries to improve, her enthusiasm, and kind personality. These amazing qualities make her a pleasure to be around and a joy to coach!"

Pumpkin Patch

We made it to Miller's Country Gardens on Sunday to play and pick out pumpkins. As you can see, Emerson hasn't slowed down much.

Broken Arm

Our little buddy fell off of the rockwall at daycare and broke his left ulna and radius. After 10 hours in the ER, we made it home to let the healing process begin.

Volleyball Wrapping Up

Kit's seventh grade team wrapped up the regular season 14-1! They won their first day of tournament games in Marysville, too!

Introducing Emerson's class, the Grasshoppers!

Kinetic Sand

Emerson and Friends

Emerson had neighbor Mina over to watch a show and play. They are too cute together!

We enjoy Kiddie Academy sending us pictures through the day. Here is Emerson giving a thumbs up (with his index finger).

Indian Lake

We made the trip to Indian Lake to visit with Aunt Berchie and Uncle Jim and meet Pip. Tego and Pip really enjoyed each other. Fortunately, we got back from boating just before it started raining.

Happy birthday to Uncle Jim!

Tego - Six Months

Tego turned 6 months old. He was neutered at TAHO and did just fine. Here are some pics Winnie took when we picked him up from his appointment.
