Weekend Roundup

Our weekend was active! Emerson's soccer through i9 began, and this time, Seth isn't coaching. We all laughed when Emerson was offended that we cheered for his goalie's save. 

Winnie, Emerson, and Seth worked more on their shed project.

On Sunday, we took Emerson to Veteran's park and splash pad. In the evening, we got in some tennis.

Win Against Eversole Run

The Eagles pulled out another win on Wednesday at Dublin Eversole Run.

Hyatts Versus Dublin Grizzell

Kit was a starter for all three sets against Dublin Grizzell on Monday. She did awesome serving and passing. Hyatts won the game (winning sets one and three). 

Shale Hollow

We got in a hike at Shale Hollow on Sunday. We saw three deer!

Shed Project, Day One

Seth took Winnie and Emerson shopping to buy supplies to carry out their shed plan. They disassembled the sandbox frame at the bottom of the swingset. Stay tuned for more!

Istanbul Birthday Celebration

We celebrated August birthdays with dinner at Istanbul in Dublin. Happy birthday to Matt, Zech, and Grandma Lovie! It was great spending time with sweet Maggie. We had a good laugh about glowing Grandpa.

First Day of 6th & 8th Grades

Today the girls began sixth and eighth grade at Hyatts Middle School. It's great having them at the same school again!

Scrimmage Against Dempsey

Kit and her team did awesome in the scrimmage against Dempsey. Doc, Winnie, and Emerson joined me in the gym. We were touched that Nicole, her club coach, came out to support Mara (plays for Dempsey) and Kit. 

Cheer Camp

Winnie and Sarah did a cheer camp at The Ohio State University!

Touch-a-Truck

Seth took Emerson to Berlin's Touch-a-Truck. He saw a couple of friends but expressed that what he really wanted to do was go to the skate park. So they did :)

Olentangy Scrimmage

The Eagles had their first scrimmage against the other Olentangy 8th grade teams. That meant Kit had to play against her friend Mia (from her club team). So proud that Kit got to be a starter!

Lunch with Grandmas

The Grandmas came together to take the girls to lunch at Bob Evans. Kit and Winnie both expressed how cute their Grandmas are together :)

Summer Activities

The kids have kept busy this summer! From gymnastics, to volleyball camps (& now hanging out with the 8th grade team), to tee-ball, tennis, and the skate park, these guys have been on the move. AND they've had a lot of fun, as seen playing with Silly String here.

8th Grade Volleyball

Kit's hard work paid off! She opened this envelope to find out she made the eighth grade volleyball team.

Super Pets

We had a fun time listening to Emerson laugh while we watched "Super Pets" at The Strand.

Kit's Fresh Cut

Amanda helped Kit with a fresh trim for eighth grade. Kit loved it!

Tennis

Winnie, Emerson, Dad, and I went to Berlin to play tennis. While there, we learned about an opportunity for weekend tennis lessons. Emerson gave it a try on Sunday and did great as a leftie. Coach Rishi, a senior at Liberty, was great with him.
