ZOMBIEzi Bay

Winnie and her Hyatts friend group had a blast at ZOMBIEzi Bay. She was proud she bravely checked out every exhibit. Kit and her friends were there, too.

Momster Ball

Emerson and I had a fun time at Berlin's Momster Ball, a fundraiser for the lacrosse team. He was all about getting out on the dance floor! He was also delighted to see Kenley there.

Bye-Bye Baby Teeth

Winnie has lost a lot of teeth lately, including two this week. In lieu of the tooth fairy, which she never had the chance to enjoy, we had a mini celebration at Starbucks.

Volleyball Banquet

So proud of Kit! At her volleyball tournament, Coach Tidball shared so many great qualities about Kit, including "her attitude will get her so far in life," "always positive," "not a kinder human being to her teammates," "a role model to the seventh graders - always there for them," and "always a hussler."

Purse Bingo

I had fun with the ladies at purse bingo to support youth programming at Aunt Berchie's church. Jess and Heather won purses!

Saturday Roundup

Emerson's soccer season wrapped up on Saturday. He's into drawing Minecraft pictures. We had the Kletts over, and Josephine had fun with Winnie and Emerson.

Welcome Back!

We were all glad to have Kit back. Emerson and I made a "welcome home" sign for her bedroom door. Kit had a little edible surprise for Winnie, Sarah, and Emerson.

Kit's DC Trip

Kit had a busy time during the 8th grade Hyatts trip to Washington DC. They got in four days of sightseeing. She is pictured with friends Kenley and Alexis in the photos (they roomed together). Her favorite designation was the U.S. Naval Academy, and she was surprised by the strong presence of females there.

Winnie's Happy Place

It was a beautiful, fall evening to watch some of Winnie's practice. She seems so happy at the gym!

Final Tournament Games

The Eagles had a rough start on Saturday with a loss to Berkshire. They seemed defeated before they started. Then, they came back to win set two against the Hilliard Bradley, with Kit making the final two serves when it counted the most as they were neck and neck. Then, in set three, which was also very close, Kit made her serve at the end, when the pressure was on, but Hilliard won. I was line judge and couldn't capture the special game, which included a subbing mistake and Kit playing middle front!

Field Trip to Lehner's Pumpkin Farm

Emerson and I picked out pumpkins during his preschool's field trip to Lehner's. We rode on a wagon, jumped with friends, made our way out of a maze, visited chickens, ate popcorn, and more.

Tournament Game One Vs Davis

Kit and the Eagles had a solid tournament start and beat Dublin Davis. Kit is pictured with Brynn from last year's club team.

Hyatts at Heritage

In the last game of the season at Heritage, Hyatts lost the first set. They pulled together to win set two. The final set was a real nail biter, within a couple of points, but Haytts won!

Kit's Last Middle School Home Game

Hyatts beat Dempsey in their final middle school home game. Grandma and Grandpa were there for the special occasion, which included moms giving their players bouquets and "little sisters" presenting gift bags.

Tennis Time

Emerson loves tennis, especially running to collect the balls.

Papa & GG at Soccer

The Jump family came on Saturday for the OSU game against Rutgers. GG and Papa, and later the McMillens, got to see Emerson's soccer game, too. Dane taught Emerson the armpit-straw-tooting trick. Nash and Tego did super playing together. We had a good time catching up with everyone.
