Cantwell Cliffs

Seth and I hiked at Cantwell Cliffs before heading home. We enjoyed  the amazing high and low zones of this area (and a light rain shower).

Happy 50th Anniversary

The grownup kids and spouses celebrated John and Teri's 50th anniversary in Hocking Hills. We had a great time together at the Black Forest Chalet in Laurelville, sharing meals and playing games. We also hiked at Old Man's Cave, where the happy couple stopped on day one of their honeymoon, and Conkle's Hollow.

Goodbye, Port Clinton

One more sunrise, one more walk, one more swim, and one clean sweep to get us out of the condo and headed home. We stopped in Tiffin at Casa Express and had the most amazing food and experience. They brought out cars for Emerson, a bag of warm tortilla chips, and a container for our leftover salsa!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to Seth, the grandfathers, and the uncles! We enjoyed lunch at Crow's Nest, stopping by East Harbor, and more time at the beach and pool.

Out & About

We had a lovely Saturday that included the beach, playground, ice cream, and mayflies.

Cedar Point '23

We had the coolest Cedar Point day ever and fairly short lines on Friday. Doc and Kit rode 10 rollercoasters, and Winnie and Emerson buddied up. Toward the end of the day, Seth got pooped on by a bird! Winnie and Kit loved riding Wild Mouse together. I enjoyed the landscape, food, and smiles on everyone's faces. We left just before closing time.

Port Clinton '23

We arrived at Port Clinton on Thursday just in time to enjoy the beach and pool before a major storm came through in the evening. It was our first time to hear tornado sirens there, and we were thankful for safety as the storm passed. It gave us a chance to play Uno and sing some karaoke!

Emerson's Party at the Jungle Gym

Emerson and friends had so much fun at the Jungle Gym! Bryson, Weston, Charlotte, Sarah, Elia, Liana, Kit, and Winnie all were on hand to celebrate with the big six-year-old! It was special to Winnie that owner Chet coached her gymnastics coaches.

We are grateful for Lydia and her family's generosity in sharing their beautiful and refreshing pool with us.
