Bruins cheerleaders, coaches, and family members celebrated football and basketball cheer seasons with a cupcake "banquet" on Tuesday evening. Coach Townsend, who did a great job with the 7th graders, shared with the girls that she was glad to be a first-time coach during their first year of cheer.

Baller
Emerson's progress in basketball has been fun to see. Today he made three shots! His coach is pretty decent, too.
Winnie's 13 Birthday
We celebrated Winnie's 13th birthday at the Trojan Tumble in Findlay. At the end of the meet, the announcer wished her a happy birthday! The COGC gold team took third. Then we took Grandma Jo to Winnie's restaurant of choice: Olive Garden. When we got home, Sarah came to spend the night. Doc surprised Winnie with the installation of the rings in their new spot. We also had gifts waiting for her in the gym.

Here's the Scoop
Emerson and I got some bonus time together on Friday afternoon. We had a couple of errands to run and stopped by Grater's for indoor fun.
Kit's 15th Birthday
Happy 15th birthday to Kit! Her special day included doughnuts, highlights at Green Door Salon, lunch (and surprise singing!) with the fam, and supporting Berlin girls basketball alongside other volleyball players.
Oakland Dinosaurs
Jen took Bryson and Emerson to see the dinosaurs at Oakland Nursery. They've been having a lot of fun together this winter.

Celebrating Kit's Birthday Early
On Saturday, we headed to Bowling Green to first celebrate Gage's birthday. Then we took Grace with us to dinner and a hotel in Toledo for Kit's birthday celebration (early). It was super cold! We were amazed the mall had no heat but was still open on Sunday.

First Time to Waffle House
Emerson thoroughly enjoyed his first time to Waffle House with mommy! Our waitress went out of her way to make it a good experience.
7th Grade Basketball Cheer
Winnie's basketball cheer magnet--looking as spirited as ever! It's been busy with gymnastics, but we've been able to make it work.
Star Lanes
The kids and I had the chance to visit Star Lanes Polaris for some bowling and arcade fun to close out their Christmas break.

New Year's Day
The girls got to celebrate New Year's Day with Grandma Jo before we all gathered at Grandma and Grandpa's. Little Maggie sure is the cutest! We felt thankful to take part in gatherings after being at home with COVID.
When we got home, Tego got to try out his belated Christmas gift: an anti-anxiety pad.
Emerson 's Orb
After testing negative, Seth and Emerson were able to go to Kettering to see the Jumps. They had fun catching up with everyone--just too bad the Buckeyes lost. Emerson is thrilled with his orb gift.
Kit's First Time Behind the Wheel
Kit got to try out driving at Sourcepoint's empty parking lot. Parking straight was harder than she thought it would be. She laughed at her own lead foot. All in all, she did great!
