Princess Birthday Party!
Today we celebrated Kit's 5th and Winnie's 3rd birthdays at home with Grace, Gage, Scarlett, Nicholas, and Nova. Understandably, the weather kept some people from coming, but we still had a fun time and appreciated the Swaisgoods and Rostons for braving the snowy roads. We are also thankful that everyone who came made it home safe and sound!

Kit's 5th Birthday!
Today we celebrated Kitster's 5th birthday! We had lunch at "My McDonald's," picked out treats at a bakery, and opened a few presents. Kit loves to write and asks how to spell all kinds of words. She enjoys filling her purses with jewelry, playing with babies and dollhouses, and going to school. Currently her favorite song is "Bringing Home My Baby Bumblebee," and her favorite food is "soynut butter and jelly sandwiches."

Muuuuuah!
I'm not sure if this kiss was motivated by Kit's excitement to return to preschool today or just sisterly love!

New Year's Eve-Christmas Celebration
Despite Grandma Lovie and Big Grandpa being under the weather, we celebrated Christmas together on New Year's Eve. Kit and I had fun preparing some special Army decorations for the occasion to honor Zech's departure next week.
