Lunch with the Girls

Also on Columbus Day, I had lunch with the girls. Winnie is pictured with her pal Emma. Kit is in front of her classroom door and the punch cards for good behavior. Winnie picked Rock on Gems and Descendants 2 at the book fair. Kit selected My Glittering Life (a journal) and Third Grade Mermaid.

Emerson's 4-Month Appt.

Emerson had his 4-month checkup on Columbus Day. He weighed in at 17 pounds, 9.5 oz (87%) and measured 26.25" (90%). His head circumference was 41.9 cm (57%).

40 Years Old!

On Daddy's/Doc's actual birthday, we took it easy and had a slow day at home.

Seth's 40th Birthday Party

These four girls just love the Descendants, and today we made Ursula's Tentacles.

Saturday, September 23

Today the temperature reached about 90 degrees, and the girls got to play in the neighbors' pool and have their friends over to play. Emerson joined us at the dinner table since he can hold his head up fairly well in his Bumbo seat.

Delaware County Fair

Grandma and Grandpa took the girls to the Delaware County Fair on Monday as there was no school. They ate a giant elephant ear and french fries, rode a "roller coaster" and other rides, saw animals, and collected freebies.

Park & Play

On Sunday, we stopped by the Delaware State Park playground on the way to Marion. We discovered a snake! The girls spent the night with Grandma Lovie and Grandpa. Winnie sat on Grandpa's new Goldwing.

Horse Parade

We enjoyed this year's Horse Parade with the Biglers, friends from the old neighborhood.

Emerson - 3 Months

Beavercreek

Before heading home on Sunday, we stopped in Beavercreek to visit the Gravitts. The girls had fun playing in their backyard playhouse and at the park down the street.

Kettering Trip

We spent Saturday night in Kettering to celebrate all of the fall birthdays. Kit and Winnie learned to play pool and got to explore the creek. Kit and GG continued their sewing project, and Winnie helped GG in the kitchen. Winnie started a leaf collection, and Papa helped her identify the leaves. Emerson did great with his first overnight there.
