Friday Entertainment

Along with Sarah, the kids sure know how to put on a show! They were the entertainment when we had the Lubbens over.

Winnie's Spelling Bee

We're proud that Winnie voluntarily took part in her school's spelling bee. She spent time in the evening working on lists of words. We got to watch the event online and see Winnie demonstrate courage and knowledge. Great job!

Kit's Choir Concert

I loved the live music at Kit's Choir concert. Mrs. Gilleon has her choirs sounding top-notch. Kit was the featured seventh great soloist, performing "Halo" and sounding like an angel. Friends Kenley and Regan were on hand to support her.

Emerson Organizes

Emerson's latest kick is a useful one: organizing! He told me, " I love to clean and organize."

Notes for Mom

I get a kick out of notes like this one on top of Kit's hamper. She responsibly left everything pulled out so that I wouldn't miss it.

Winnie's Sketches

Winnie kept busy during our Dayton road trip.

Belated Thanksgiving

Thanks to Matt and Molly for hosting a belated Thanksgiving gathering at their home. We had fun with Sarah, Mike, and Owen. Tego and Shadow got to play. Emerson wants to know when Owen can come to our house :)

Friday Night with Friends

We enjoyed having Regan, Alex, Eli, and Lill over for pizza. Such great kids!

Splint Off Party

We celebrated the last day/removal of Emerson's splint with a dance party. He chose "Ghostbusters." His final x-ray is in two weeks.

The Return of Snowball

Snowball returned on December 1st. Looks like he might have gotten hurt on a rock wall, too. I'll be taking photos of his antics daily and will share all at once.

We also have started a nativity calendar from GG.

Holiday Home

I added a little more to the front this year, and we opted for a 10-foot artificial tree. We're all so glad we did! I tucked a few "Scentsicles" into the branches, and it smells like a real fir tree :)

Santa Train

Seth and I took Emerson to Nelsonville to ride the Santa Train. We took along his letter to Santa and hot cocoa. He was shy but gradually warmed up to a very funny Santa Claus. However, it was the Grinch who especially won him over!

OSU Game Gathering

On Saturday, Kara and Cody hosted the Jumps for the OSU-Michigan game. It wasn't the ending we wanted, but we had a great time anyhow. Nolan coached Emerson in hockey, and Tego got to play with Nash.

Ladies Christmas

We enjoyed hosting ladies Christmas, which certainly needs to be renamed :) Michelle made it, and we got to meet sweet Beau and visit with Noah! It's awesome to see how great he's doing thanks to the clinical trial.

Thanksgiving 2021

We had the best Thanksgiving because it included Kit and Winnie all day ;) They helped me cook, watch the parade, and relax. The matching jammies are from Grandma Jo and Grandpa. We enjoyed having Grandma Lovie and Grandpa join us.

Tego and Shadow

On Thanksgiving Eve, we had Matt and Molly over for pizza. Tego and Shadow had a blast together!
