Emerson - 4 Weeks Old

Emerson turned 4 weeks old today. He joined us on a trail for the first time at Shale Hollow. Next time we'll take the body carrier!

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! Seems like Emerson could be saying, "Why I oughta..." :) Kit was my running buddy, and Winnie picked out a pretty hairdo.

Emerson Swings

Today Emerson had a poop explosion (up his back). This called for an early bath & swing time. Emerson loves his swing. We were all so excited to hear of cousin Bo's arrival and know that he and Kara are doing well, especially since he arrived a month early.

Fireworks Fun

On Sunday, we set off sparklers, smoke bombs, and pop-its before the girls spent the night with Rylan and Camdyn.

The kids and I loaded up in the mini van and had a little outing to see friends at DYS.

Make It Monday: Slime and Lava Cakes

The girls made slime at a craft event at Pat Catan's as well as molten lava cakes at home. Camdyn and Rylan helped us taste test the results.

Swim Lessons

These two are coming right along in their swimming skills. They are taking lessons once again this summer at the Delaware YMCA. 

First Time to Hunan

We took Emerson to House of Hunan for the first time on Sunday. John and Jo just happened to be there, and the girls were pleased to introduce their new brother.

First Bath

With a little help from the girls, Emerson got his first bath today. He seemed to like it. The girls found it so funny that he peed in his little tub and pooped in his little towel.

Emerson's Frenectomy

Emerson had a frenectomy to address his tongue and lip ties. Dr. Jordan did the procedure, which was fairly quick and hopefully not too painful. He might have been a bit uncomfortable by late afternoon/early evening when Papa and GG came so that Seth and I could have a dinner out.

First Walk & Picnic

Tuesday was just beautiful, and we used the opportunity to go for a walk around the block with Emmers before enjoying a backyard picnic. Later in the day, we took him to the Orange Branch Library for the first time.

First Bottle

Emerson drank his first bottle of expressed milk like a champ!

Overnighter in Wally

The girls spent the night with GG and Papa in Wally (their RV). They enjoyed the playground at Cross Creek, raced, read, and had ice cream.

Father's Day Lunch

We had lunch at Grandma Lovie and Grandpa's house. Emerson got to meet his remaining uncles. Matt showed us his sky diving videos.

First Time to Church

What a joy to take Emmerson to church for the first time and have our church family love on him!
