Emerson's 12-Month Appointment

Seth took Emerson to his 12-month appointment today. He weighed in at 22 lb. 10.5 oz. (71st percentile) and 29.5" tall (58th percentile). Odd that he only gained 1/2 an ounce since his 6-month appointment & grew more than 2" taller! Guess he's just thinning out!  Here he is, pushing his beloved cart around later in the day.

Emerson's 1st Birthday Party

We celebrated Emerson's first birthday with Grandma Lovie, Grandpa, Aunt Berchie, Uncle Jim, Rylan, and Camdyn. Kit and Winnie came home with a set of decorations they had made and a very special 1st birthday t-shirt for our little guy. He didn't seem to enjoy the feel or taste of cake, but he had a fun time before getting tired.

Emerson Turns 1!

Anthony-Thomas Tour

Us girls spent the day together. After getting our teeth cleaned, we ran a couple of errands, had lunch at Waffle House, and toured the Anthony-Thomas chocolate factory in Columbus.

Arbs In, Arbs Out

Seth got some work done in the backyard this Memorial Day weekend. He planted these arbs along the fence and took out the arbs blocking the kitchen window. More to come!

Escape Room

Seth, John, Zech, Matt and I had a fun time trying to figure out "who done it" and how to escape a room at Lockology on Bethel Rd. Each time we used clues we lost time; otherwise, we might have been successful. Thanks to Zech for organizing this fun time together!

Salon Day with Grandma

The girls had a fun day at State Beauty Academy with Grandma Lovie. They got their hair styled (including the tips sprayed with color) and nails done.

Last Day

It was a blessing to get the girls on/off the bus on their last day of school. Do they look happy or what?

Winnie decided to break from gymnastics during the summer. Here she is at her last class (Aerial) of the season. She worked hard at the gym this year!
