Presidents' Day

The kids and I were together on Presidents' Day. We hit up story time at the library, had a special lunch at a Burger King with an indoor playground, and Rylan and Camdyn came over to play.

Brodie's 4th Birthday

We all had fun celebrating Brodie's 4th birthday at the Findlay Children's Museum. We met sweet Baker for the first time.

COSI

The girls and I took Emerson to COSI for the first time. He's telling the cadaver "night night" in the first picture. His favorite exhibit was WOSU, and he had fun with all of the PBS Kids lights, sounds, and characters.

Valentine's Day Parties

On Valentine's Day, Seth had the table full of roses and Bath and Body products for me as well as cards and wrapped gifts for each of the kids. Sweet! I was fortunate to be able to leave work early and take part in the girls' school parties. Winnie made a "Winnie's Window" box, and Kit made a Uni box that included a noise-making unicorn horn. That's pal Stella hiding behind her penguin box.

A Visit with the Carlisles

At our visit with the Carlisles, Nathaniel gave Winnie an art lesson & Henry looked after Emerson.

Basement Fun

The kids have been having lots of fun this winter with the rings in the gym. The family room has been taken over by the "toy hotel" with a check-in desk, 9 suites, and bonus gifts for every stay.

Emerson - 20 Months

Emerson is 20 months. He enjoys playing "bye bye" trying on everyone's shoes, being pushed on his tricycle in the basement, and getting into the girls' Legos. He says things like, "see ya later", "fu fu" (shoe), "mine", "ma-men" (amen), "masement" (basement), "Alexa!", "I pee pee", "A bite", and "Play?"

Winnie's New Friend

Winnie is a saver. She keeps her wallet full for just the right moment. When she saw this large bear in the Aldi flyer, she was determined to buy it. It took quite a few tries of running into the store, but we finally got one.

Winnie's 8th Birthday

At Winnie's request, we made banana bread on her actual birthday. She's wearing new panda jammies from the neighbors. I also found this worksheet in her book bag.

Emerson's 1st Time Sledding

Just enough snow for some slow sledding! Emerson enjoyed his first time out. Doc and Winnie ended up wet after hitting an ice patch.

Winnie's 8th Birthday Sleepover

Winnie hosted a panda party sleepover in celebration of her 8th birthday. Friends Penny, Camdyn, and Emma (plus Kit and Rylan) had a blast with her. These girls sure do know how to have a good time. Constant laughter!
