We made it to Cosi in time to see the mythical creatures, dinosaurs, and Jim Henson exhibits.

Fish, Round 2

Well, the unthinkable happened, and we went for another round of fish. This time Kit opted for glo-fish.

Winnie's 2nd Year of Piano Lessons

Winnie began her second year of piano lessons with Ms. Alexandra. I'm going to be sad when the box goes away.

First Day of School

Hard to believe it, but off to third and fifth grades they go!

We stopped by the school to meet teachers and drop off supplies. At long last, Kit has her own locker. She practiced the combination until she could open the locker with confidence - with her loyal sidekick there for yet another first.

Zoombezi Bay

We all had a blast at Zoombezi Bay! Before we left, the girls rode down a huge water slide.

Girl Fun

We went on a Target run and discovered a St. Ives party bus in the parking lot. We had fun testing a new product and using the photo opps.

Take Your Child to Work Day

This morning the girls found out who they have for 3rd and 5th grades: Mrs. Pomeroy and Mrs. Wagner. They were so happy! Then, they got to go to work with me and learn about supporting individuals with disabilities. Both girls enjoyed playing wheelchair basketball.

Boating at Alum Creek

A beautiful day to go on Grandpa's boat! Kit couldn't get enough of the raft. Winnie discovered she could blow water up the noodle. Emerson did a little skinny dipping.

The Beauty of South Haven

South Haven 2019

We had perfect weather (74-82 degrees and sunny) during our vacation in beautiful South Haven. We stayed in a charming cottage in the Mt. Pleasant Subdivision. It was great because we had a playground and private beach access. Highlights included eating ice cream at Sherman's, swimming in Ely Lake, digging holes at North Beach, playing scooper ball and having fires in the backyard, and walking along Lake Michigan. On our last full day, we had pie and wine flights at Crane's Pie Pantry while listening to live music.
