Arrowhead Talent Show

The girls performed in this year's school talent show. They were welcomed by the Berlin High School cheerleaders. Kit and Rylan performed a dance they choreographed. Winnie and Camdyn also choreographed their own dance that was set to an original song they wrote and recorded.

Kit's Band Concert

Kit played trombone along with 5th graders from several elementary schools and the 6th grade Shanahan Middle School band.

Winnie's 9th Super Panda Birthday

Winnie celebrated her 9th birthday with a super panda-themed birthday party with 3 of her friends, and 2 slept over. They decorated mailboxes and capes, sang karaoke, made videos, and painted faces.

Shopping Spree

 

Kit celebrated her actual birthday with a shopping spree at Polaris Fashion Place. She made her gift cards go far! I'm so proud of her huge heart and zest for life.

Kit's 11th Birthday Sleepover

Kitster celebrated her 11th birthday with a sleepover-themed sleepover. From Kit: It was chaotic, and there were lots of Yetis (pajama gifts to her friends). My favorite part was spending time with all of my friends and the presents.

House of Japan

We had quite the experience at the House of Japan at Polaris. The kids were leery of the fire at the beginning (actually, Emerson was quite scared). Soon we were laughing and having fun while the chef entertained us. In the top photo, Emerson is trying to catch a piece of egg in his mouth..

Monday Night Fun

We're back in the rhythm of Monday night story time with Ms. Bridget.

Playing at Cosi

Today we played at Cosi. The highlight was Kidspace. Emerson loved everything about it, running from one area to the next. The girls got creative with colored dominoes.

Restaurant Fairy

We met the Rostons for lunch today, and a lady approached our table, announcing she was the restaurant fairy. She said she had been watching the children and noticed their good behavior. She rewarded each child with a $5 bill. So kind!

Christmas with the Jumps

Today we celebrated Christmas with the Jumps in Kettering. The day included lunch and dinner, playing with trains, getting outside, and watching movies. GG made the girls cross-stitch pictures for their bedrooms.

What a wonderful Christmas! We were so glad to get the girls back and celebrate. Stockings! Presents! The girls made their first pie crusts (pat-in-the-pan). We played games and helped Kit with some of her bedroom decorating. Winnie presented her gifts later in the day. Emerson was quite pleased with the Toy Story cars.

Christmas Eve

These two handsome guys and I went to the candlelight service. We came home & put out cookies and milk for Santa. Emerson thought his little Santa should help.
