With perfect weather, we've been making the rounds to different playgrounds. I love when all three kids can have fun together.

Swim!

 

Emerson got to resume swim lessons starting today. He's in a new class: Junior 1. He did great with his instructors but wouldn't wear goggles.

Evening at Alum Creek

 

Tonight may have been our last chance to enjoy Alum Creek Beach this season.

Cousins' Camping 2020

 

We felt fortunate to be able to continue our tradition of cousins' camping this year. It was great to have Molly with us for the first time! Thank you to Grandpa and Grandma Lovie for generously loaning us their camper.

Winnie's First Day of 4th Grade

 

Winnie started the 4th grade at Arrowhead, and friend Camdyn is in her class. This is her first year to have more than one teacher: Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. Spitzer.

Kit's First Day of Middle School

Kit began 6th grade at Hyatts Middle School today (mask in hand). With COVID-19 still a major consideration, the school district has a hybrid schedule, social distancing, and a mask requirement. We saw her off on the bus, and Emerson "called" her to ask if she is coming back.

Playing at Glenross

We had fun riding bikes to Glenross to check out a different playground.

 

Movie Night

 

Jammies, pillows, blankets, candy buffet, and popcorn...it's family movie night! We watched The Secret: Dare to Dream.

Girls' Day Out

 

Today we enjoyed a girls' day to do their back-to-school supply shopping and have lunch at Bob Evans.

Swimming in the Rain

We experienced a magical moment at Alum Creek State Park beach. The rain was beautiful on the water, and we enjoyed a full rainbow.

 

Harry Styles

 

This has been a summer of Harry Styles' music and play. The singer-songwriter shows up repeatedly on Alexa and imaginative play.

Reading Buddies

Winnie and Emerson have been enjoying each other at a new level. Thanks for being a super big sister, Winnie!

 

Beach Fun

Kit requested one-on-one time, so we headed to Alum Creek State Park beach. We enjoyed a long walk and Frisbee.
