On Saturday evening, we had an "I Do Barbecue" for Michelle at Aunt Berchie's clubhouse. We had a fun time celebrating Michelle and Joe (or "Joey Hole" as the children affectionately started calling him). The best game was suggesting (in some cases hilarious) dates for the happy couple.

Cousins' Camping Trip 2014

This year's Cousins' Camping Trip took place Friday-Monday at Indian Lake State Park. On Saturday, we were fortunate to have ALL of the first cousins together. I'm only sorry that I didn't get a group shot!

Cookout at Grandma and Grandpa's

On Sunday, we had a lot of celebrating to do at Grandma Lovie and Big Grandpa's. Happy birthday to Grandma, and happy belated birthdays to Matt and Zech. Best wishes to Zech and Keidra, too.

Zoombezi Bay

We had hot and sunny weather to enjoy the afternoon and evening at Zoombezi Bay! Kit's favorite activity was the lazy river, and Winnie liked the wave pool best. The longer we were there, the braver the girls became. By the end, they were exploring all the Baboon Lagoon had to offer.

Kit is Now a Daisy

Look who started Girl Scouts last night! Kit! Winnie had a good time, too. Kit was sweet to want to include her sister in the activities.

Celebrating 2 Carlisle Birthdays

On Saturday, we joined in the fun at the Carlisle's to celebrate William and Owen's shared birthday.

Kit's First Day of Kindergarten

As Seth and I walked, Kit HOPPED all the way to the school for her first day at kindergarten. She was so happy and excited to go! Parents aren't permitted to walk the kids into the building, so after a quick hug, she was through the door, and that was it!

Trip to the Zoo

Our day at the zoo started off with a downpour. Thankfully, the rain passed, and it turned out to be a beautiful day! We had a fun time with Aunt Berchie, Uncle Jim, Grace, and Gage. It was our first time seeing the "Heart of Africa," which has the look and feel of an African village.

Kindergarten Begins in 2 Days!

Kit met her kindergarten teacher, Ms. Becker, at Carlisle Elementary's Back to School Night. We toured the building, and the PTO had freezer pops for the kids.

Evening at Jeff's Place

On Sunday we headed out to Jeff's place: the Delaware Range and Field Association, which is near Ashley. We roasted hot dogs, made s'mores, and saw the full moon.
