On our way home from Carey, we met Grandma Jo & Little Grandpa John for lunch in Upper Sandusky.

Baby Brodie

Today we got to meet the adorable Baby Brodie. Congratulations to Amanda and Justin! Kit was inspired to nurse her baby doll during the ride home ;)

Disney on Ice

The four of us went to see Disney on Ice/Worlds of Fantasy on Friday (my gift to the girls for their birthdays). Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Cars, the Little Mermaid, Tinkerbell and Toy Story were all part of the show. The girls loved it, especially Barbie and Ken during the Toy Story segment. Kit applauded holding her hands over her head, and Winnie applauded bouncing up and down.

Valentine's Getaway

For Valentine's Day, Seth and I cashed in our Christmas gift from Mom and John: an overnight stay in Amish Country. We stayed at the beautiful Carlisle Inn in Berlin and enjoyed our quiet, wintry time away. Thank you to Mom and John for the great gift and for taking care of the girls.

Make It Monday: Monster High Table

Today we used leftover Monster High Valentines to decoupage the little table the girls use in their bedroom.

World Thinking Day

The Delaware troops got together for World Thinking Day. Kit learned about several countries, including Germany (shout-out to Zech). Her favorite country was Kenya because of the necklace she made at its table. Each girl wrote about a way to make the world a better place. Kit's pink note says, "to help people at all times."

Gems from Parent-Teacher Conference

We were pleased to hear that Kit continues to do well in school and that she has come out of her shell in class. I cherish her pictures with captions. Ms. Becker shared a really cute one about tap dancing, but for now, it had to stay in Kit's portfolio.
