Chuck E Cheese

It's Spring Break week, and the girls have something special lined up for each day of the week. Yesterday, Grandpa and Grandma Lovie took the girls to Alum Creek in the camper. Today we went to Chuck E Cheese, a first for the girls. They loved it! Winnie liked cheering for Chuck E but didn't care to have her picture taken with him.

Later, we played at the park, and Winnie lost her bracelet that she purchased with tickets. Kit gave Winnie the item she bought - a badge - and told Winnie, "You can have mine. I already have enough stuff."

Adult Egg Hunt

I love that the girls came up with the idea of hosting an egg hunt for Doc and me. They hid plastic eggs in the backyard, and we had fun finding them.

Easter Sunday

We enjoyed the most beautiful Easter Sunday - 74 degrees and sunny! The day started with the girls finding Ken dolls from the Easter Bunny & special books from Mommy and Doc. Then we enjoyed our church service, followed by lunch with Grandma Lovie, Grandpa, Zech, and Matt. The girls had fun hunting for eggs. In the evening, we hung out at the park.

Winnie's New Glasses

Winnie's glasses came in today. She reports that they make things blurry - hopefully she'll adjust soon. 

Make It Monday: Garden Tiles

Thanks to Amanda and Justin, Kit made a special hand print garden tile. Winnie made a similar plaster piece.

We were watching our Friday Family Movie, Spy Kids, and Kit was wiggling the other loose top front tooth. Before long, it was outta there!

Friday Fun

Today both girls were home from school, and we made name banners for the girls' newly separated bedrooms. Later, Kim and Brooklyn came to visit.

Uncle Zech is back from serving in Germany...for good! Welcome back, and thank you for your service!

A Sunday in Lima

We got to catch up with the Collets and Gorenflos on Sunday at Amanda and Justin's new home in Lima. Just look at cute Brodie! We exchanged birthday gifts for the little ones, and Aunt Berchie and Uncle Jim had Easter baskets for the girls.

Snowy Morning

This was a winter of little snow, but this morning was beautiful while it lasted.

ECC Spring Family Celebration

I was glad to be part of Winnie's spring celebration at the Early Childhood Center. We enjoyed hearing a story about a hedgehog, planting carrots, and singing silly preschool songs.
