Ladies' Christmas

We had our Ladies' Christmas at Indian Lake (too cold and wet for the zoo!). Unfortunately, I didn't remember to get a picture of us ladies. However, I especially love that I captured Gage, Kit, and Winnie walking out of the Moose like this. They were also having a conversation about how they probably couldn't marry when they're adults.

This was a nice start to my 38th birthday ;) Then we enjoyed lunch with Mom, John, Matt, Zech, and Holly at the ever wonderful House of Hunan. Later, I got in a nap. Our evening was typical for a Sunday night: dinner, reading with the girls, and watching a family show (Dancing with the Stars).

We loved having the Carlisles over but missed seeing William.

Backpacking

Seth and I enjoyed an overnight backpacking trip at Zaleski State Forest. We lucked out with mild temperatures and a dry Veterans Day. It was especially nice using inflatable pillows this time as opposed to rolled up clothing.

Autumn Fire

We had our first fire at the new house. These two didn't last long.
