Mohican Lodge

We enjoyed a one-night stay at the Mohican State Park Lodge during spring break. The girls broke a new record for themselves with a 2-mile hike. Emerson liked standing in and reaching for the water in the pool.

Sleeping Beauties

I love how the girls enjoy "sleepovers" when it's not a school night. In their Meep City tablet game, they even designed bedrooms for each other.

Jump Family Gathering

This evening we had the Jumps at our home to celebrate winter birthdays. The older kids had fun playing in the basement and hunting for eggs. Emerson and Bo seemed to enjoy seeing each other.

Dance Company Recital

Kit lit up the stage this evening at the Dance Company Recital at Willis School.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

We had a great time at the conferences tonight. Since Winnie's was student-led, the 5 of us were on hand to celebrate the girls' achievements.

Invention Convention

We're proud of Kit's optional participation in Arrowhead's Invention Convention. Today she presented the "Book Slide," an adjustable book storage box. We had ups and downs during the process, but in the end, Kit persisted and did a great job!

When Winn Grows Up

When Winnie grows up, she wants to be a video game developer.

We're making a point of enjoying the great outdoors together. Today we explored Shale Hollow.

Bath Laugh

Kit was throwing a washcloth in the tub, and it made Emerson laugh and laugh!

Emerson's 9-Month Appt.

Daddy took Emerson to see Dr. Andy today. He weighed in at 22 pounds, 10.5 ounces (90th percentile). His height was 28.5" (56th percentile). His BMI was at the 95th percentile!

9 Months Old

Our little guy is 9 months old today! He is almost crawling - just needs to get one of his legs to cooperate. He has 7 teeth through. When he likes something, he kicks his feet with enthusiasm. 

The Hikers

Seth had the day off and took Emerson for a little hike at Shale Hollow.

Arrowhead Carnival

We had fun at Arrowhead's Spring Carnival, a PTO fundraiser. Seth and I shared a shift running the pig race (stuffed, battery-operated pigs). The girls played games, checked out vendors on hand, and watched a presentation by the Columbus Zoo.
