Arbs In, Arbs Out

Seth got some work done in the backyard this Memorial Day weekend. He planted these arbs along the fence and took out the arbs blocking the kitchen window. More to come!

Escape Room

Seth, John, Zech, Matt and I had a fun time trying to figure out "who done it" and how to escape a room at Lockology on Bethel Rd. Each time we used clues we lost time; otherwise, we might have been successful. Thanks to Zech for organizing this fun time together!

Salon Day with Grandma

The girls had a fun day at State Beauty Academy with Grandma Lovie. They got their hair styled (including the tips sprayed with color) and nails done.

Last Day

It was a blessing to get the girls on/off the bus on their last day of school. Do they look happy or what?

Last Class for Now

Winnie decided to break from gymnastics during the summer. Here she is at her last class (Aerial) of the season. She worked hard at the gym this year!

Grace's Birthday

We celebrated Grace's 10th birthday in Bowling Green this weekend. She had a party, outing to Dave & Buster's & a sleepover. 

Lunch with the Girls

Emerson and I surprised the girls by having lunch with them at Arrowhead.

Camp Skeeter

This week Winnie got to experience Camp Skeeter, a first grade tradition at many school districts. Her favorite part of the "camp" was making an edible bird's nest. She received letters from us and wrote this one back.

Pioneer Day

Kit had been looking forward to Pioneer Day at Leed's Farm, an Olentangy third grade tradition. We watched "Pioneer Quest" as a family in preparation for the big day. She got to sew, work with leather, square dance, paint a canvas bag, and more.

Mother's Day 2018

Happy Mother's Day! I found gifts waiting for me at the table when I went downstairs. Just as I finished my run, Emerson was at the door to greet me. Seth took this picture of the kids and me before we got all sweaty from playing outside most of the day.

Kit's Recitals

Kit shined brightly during the 2 and 5 pm performances of "Movies in Motion," presented by the Arts Castle Dance Academy. She danced to "Hope is a Glimmer of Light," "Chillin' Like a Villain," and "Razzle Dazzle" with friends Ava, Annabelle, Alexis, and Rylan. We're grateful for the staff and volunteers as well as family who came out to support her.

Where's Winnie?

11 Months Old

Sweet Emerson is 11 months old. He is pulling to stand, saying "dada," and getting into everything.

New Glasses

The girls got their new glasses from Dr. Campbell's office today. Susan (in the background) has been so helpful to us for years now.
