New Start at OOD

I started my new job with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities on Monday. On Tuesday, I toured the DSW Warehouse with Governor DeWine and Director Miller. I'm impressed with the commitment of all those involved to help individuals with disabilities learn job skills, gain internship experience, and get permanent jobs.

Farewell to DYS

I said goodbye to the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) today. My friends held a nice sendoff for me. I'm blessed to have served with many cherished people to help individuals improve their lives. Now my 15-year sentence in corrections is over ;)

I chaired the 2019 Arrowhead Carnival, and in the end, I'm glad I did. It was rewarding to see families having a good time together at the school, get to know more moms, and raise funds for the school.

An Evening of Dance

The Arts Castle Youth Dance Companies presented "An Evening of Dance" on Friday night. Kit danced to "Burn Up the Dance Floor," "This is Me," and "Lost Boy" with her company.

Emerson - 21 Months

Nacho Cheese Food Truck

I slipped out of work early today to attend the 4th grade food truck festival. Kit's team created a nacho cheese food truck. The queso didn't melt as expected, so Kit's teacher made a special trip to the store to help save the day with cheese spread.
