Winnie's 1st Piano Recital

I couldn't be more proud of Winnie for all her hard work at the piano. At her first recital, she accompanied Kit playing "Carmen Ohio," and she played solo for "Yankee Doodle," and "Don't Get it Twisted." Her teacher, Ms. Alexandra, is the best.

Baylor's Birthday

We had fun celebrating Baylor's 3rd birthday. Emerson is such as fan of Baylor. He often asks, "Where Baylor at?"

Emerson's First Swim Lesson

Emerson finally got his turn at Goldfish Swim School! He started lessons. It was quite the swim day because we also went to Mingo.

Summer Potpourri

Top to bottom: asparagus (from mom's work) for the We Hate Asparagus Club, cuddles with mommy, riding in his "roller," pound the rock with daddy, squirting daddy (the squirt bottle is Emerson's favorite backyard toy), and introduction to a potty chair.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to Seth! We had cards, a book, and a special dinner for this #1 dad.

Catching Up with the Bargers

We're glad our friends, the Bargers, are doing well. Jeff has been recuperating after a fall this winter (you read that right - Jeff, not Jack). Jack is still keeping up with his yard and golfing while Pat is managing inside work.

Emerson's 2nd Birthday Party

Emerson had fun at his "lawn mower" 2nd birthday party. He made everyone laugh with his reaction (a happy growl of sorts) to receiving a second serving of ice cream. He loved opening gifts and playing with new toys with the other little boys.

Emerson's 2nd Birthday

Emerson had a happy 2nd birthday. He wore the special shirt that the girls made him for his 1st birthday. Kit and Winnie went to Michele's with him because they felt it was important to be with him during the day, especially the exact time that he was born. When I said "I love you" at bedtime, he replied "I yuv you."
