The kids and I spent Monday and Tuesday in Amish Country (Seth had to work). We stayed at the Carlisle Inn in Sugarcreek, home of the world's largest cuckoo clock. The kids reported their top 3:
-the scenery of Amish country and the shops-all-you-can-eat buffets-swimming
I would add they also seemed to like:
-time with mom-playgrounds & play houses-Spring weather, sounds of birds, and sunshine on their skin
