1st Time Flying

The girls enjoyed their first time flying (from Cleveland to Orlando). Winnie was concerned ahead of time that she might get sick, but she did great. Kit thought the plane's wings looked like shark fins. When we landed, one of the attendants broke into song and made us all laugh.

Sunday with Friends

We caught up with Zac, Sarah, Mike, and Aiden at the VanGundy's before heading to dinner at Melt. The little people had fun roughhousing and performing somersaults. The girls had time to play library at home, too.

First Sleepover

In honor of Camdyn and Rylan's birthdays, we saw "Beauty and the Beast" prior to the girls sleeping over - a first with friends!

Jump Gathering

We had a fun time when the Jumps and McMillens came to visit. Get well wishes for Dane! We were sorry that Meg and family couldn't make it this time. The girls were delighted to open birthday gifts and tell all about their latest activities.

Baby Boy - Week 26

Here's our "big" boy, who measured in at 2 pounds, 10 ounces today (normal for now would be 1.68 pounds).

Arrowhead Carnival

Today I volunteered at the Arrowhead Carnival and oversaw Tic Tac Toe, which meant chasing after whiffle balls ;) Seth and the girls came & thankfully my relief showed up early. The girls had a blast!

Nova Over

The girls were so happy to have Nova over for a play date.

 We did our part today with a 3-hour shift at Black Wing.

Cosi

It was good being at Cosi on President's Day after taking a year off. The girls' favorites are still Progress where the diner is located and Kidspace where they can create artistic masterpieces.

No Training Wheels!

Who would have thought this would happen in February? Winnie confidently got on her bike and started riding it without training wheels! Go Winnie! 

On this beautiful Sunday, Doc and Kit put together Kit's electric scooter, which was a Christmas present from us.

A February Fire

The weather has been unseasonably warm, and our friends Blaire and Heather hosted the largest bonfire any of us have ever seen. It was a good thing they had a firefighter on hand!

Valentines from Doc

The girls and I had fun waking up to little treats from Doc on Valentine's Day. School parties were held on Wednesday and Thursday, and the girls were excited to show us what they received and tell us all about the beautiful boxes the children made.

Brodie's 2nd Birthday

A very happy 2nd birthday to Brodie! He enjoyed opening presents & was so much fun to watch in action at his Hot Wheels party.

Make It Monday: Veggie Garden

Today Winnie and I planted carrots, onions, and radishes in her veggie garden, which was a Christmas gift from Grandma Teri. The garden has a clear front panel, so we'll be able to watch everything grow.

Today I had lunch with Winnie (couldn't make it due to sickness on her birthday). She was thrilled! Her best bud Griffin is pictured to her left.
