Holiday Dance Recital

The grandparents came for dinner & got to hear Winnie play piano & Kit violin. Then we headed to Willis for Kit's holiday dance recital. Emerson loved it & cheered throughout the show. This was Kit's favorite recital to date because her ballet class performed with the older girls.

Emerson - 18 Months

Little buddy is 18 months old. He is talking up a storm and says things like, "Ready, Set, Go," He likes to sing "Baby Shark" and "Baby Beluga," and if music comes on, he likes to dance. Emerson gives hugs and pat pat's. He's curious & likes to figure things out. He weighs just over 23 pounds (34th percentile) and is 32.25" (44th percentile).

Christmas Tree

Successful Christmas tree hunt! It took us awhile to get this grand tree level and secure in its base, but once we did, there was no stopping the girls from decorating! They said I should label this #didn'thavepermission because the lights were strung before I had a chance to supervise.

Thanksgiving with the Jumps

Happy Thanksgiving! Emerson loved watching bits of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was wonderful to have the girls back early so that they could join us in Kettering. Since the McMillens were sick, we quickly caroled at their house and delivered a baby sprinkle. We all enjoyed having Craig and Sherrie with us, and the kids appreciated opening gifts and watching a magic show.

Parade Lesson

Mrs. Kendall taught Winnie's class about the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, and then the kids got to make their own balloons. Seeing the parade in NY is on my bucket list!

Kim's 40th Birthday

 

Thank you to friends and family for all of the 40th birthday love. I found this extra special list from Winnie at the table in the morning. Matt hunted for this 1978 vintage wine from one of California's oldest wineries. Throughout the day, I enjoyed emails, texts, and well wishes from many wonderful people. 

Library Cards

The girls got their very own library cards at the Orange Branch today.

I turned my back for just a second and look who swiped the pack of tortillas - they are definitely a favorite of his!

Make It: Sushi Rolls

The girls learned how to make sushi rolls today from our friend Sarah.

17 Months

Little man is 17 months old today. As you can see, he loves his ba ba. He has become increasingly loving and is generous with hugs and kisses. He answers "no" for both yes and no. His favorite song is "Baby Beluga" by Raffi.
