In preparation for club volleyball, Kit got in a couple of beach sessions at Flannagan's.

 

Sledding

 

It was the perfect day to sled at Alum Creek. When we got there, Emerson and I went down the hill together, and he laughed all the way down.

Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa

 

The photos don't reflect it well, but we carefully celebrated Christmas with Grandma Lovie, Grandpa, Zech, Sheila, Matt, and Molly. We were blown away by mom's progress - her health has improved so much!

Jump Christmas

 

Our gathering with Seth's family looked different this year, but we had fun on Zoom. Each kid opened one gift, and we got to hear about how the Christmas mornings went.

Christmas Morning

 

Christmas morning was magical with three+ inches of snow. The kids had a blast! We had a cinnamon roll bar, mimosas, and time together in the hot tub. Winnie said, "This is my favorite Christmas."

Gingerbread Cookies for Santa

 

Today Emerson received an early gift while shopping at Harbor Freight: a tool set. He worked on projects all day. We also made and decorated gingerbread cookies to leave for Santa.

I had the idea to double Emerson's train table into a Lego table. Daddy made it.

Giving & Receiving

We have enjoyed this time of giving and receiving. Thank you to all those who have sent packages our way! It's been especially heartwarming to see Kit and Winnie be generous toward their friends this year.

 

Sleepover Fun

 

The Peachey girls are in our small bubble of friends, and we let the girls have a Christmas sleepover. They have a tradition of exchanging gifts & spending time together in honor of the holidays.

Making Chocolates

 

The kids had fun making (& eating) chocolates. Kit & Winnie designed their own hot chocolate bombs.

Go Bucks

 

Seth was glad the Buckeyes could resume playing ball after a couple of weeks off due to COVID-19. Emerson couldn't quite make it though the game.

Ladies Christmas

 

The annual Ladies Christmas celebration was different this year - we used Zoom to gather safely. It was fun being able to include Amy and Erin since we caught up virtually. We were all thankful mom was doing better and able to take part.
