The Strand's 99th Birthday

It just so happened that we watched a movie at The Strand on its 99th birthday! The girls and I went to see Home. Children laughing to dancing aliens was music to my ears.

Easter 2015

This Easter was a little different for us. The girls went to church with Grandma Lovie. Seth and I made it back to Ohio in time for Easter lunch with Grandma, Big Grandpa, and Matthew. Then we had an Easter egg hunt and played at Project Playground. It was a beautiful, fresh spring day!

Jon & Naomi's Wedding Blessing

On Saturday, Seth and I attended Jon and Naomi's wedding blessing and cake reception in Indianapolis. The happy couple were officially married last year in Scotland.

25th Anniversary Surprise Celebration

On Saturday, we had a surprise 25th anniversary luncheon for Mom and John at 1808 American Bistro in Delaware. They thought that Seth and I were taking them out to lunch, which was true, but what we failed to mention was that a gathering of friends and family would be present to celebrate their silver anniversary.

Kim's New Car!

Yeah! A new (to me) car! The '02 Honda Civic had the chance to give the lowdown to the '13 Hyundai Sonata Limited before we took 'er home. My new car gets 24 city/35 highway mpg and only has 12,000 miles. It's so nice for us to have more room.

Winnie's Pre-Ballet Class

Winnie's final pre-ballet class for the winter session took place on Saturday. She loves this class! Later in the day, her teacher left me a voicemail to say how talented both girls are at dancing.

Winnie's Spring Program at Preschool

I was sad to miss Winnie's spring program at school because of work obligations. Looks like she had a blast!

Thought this was kind of cute: Kit said Caleb, another student in her class, wanted her to call him. Looks like there are a couple of extra digits in there, so we get a pass for now.

The snow almost kept us from doing our cookie booth at the Delaware Walmart today. We sold 115 boxes in 2 hours.
