Mother's Day

The girls were so enthusiastic on Mother's Day! Along with Seth, they decorated the table with flowers in the morning. In the Sunday School class that I taught, they made little treasures and and posed for a photo message. During the rest of the day, Kit and Winnie worked from a list that Kitster developed: "Mom, would you like dinner, present, dessert, a royal tea, new suitcase?" (I picked all but the suitcase.) They were Seth's little helpers and pulled it all off beautifully. Thank you!

Mother-Daughter Daisy Tea

I loved hanging out with Kit at the Daisy Tea Party. The girls learned about manners, played games, and made a couple of crafts. Kit's art to me reads, "Being a mom might mean that my hands are full, but so is my heart." Kit is pictured with pal Addelyn.

Kit Lost Her 1st Tooth!

A bright spot for Kit while feeling under the weather: losing a first tooth! Kit came outside and said, "I'm missing my tooth!" I asked her where it was, and she said, "I don't know. I'm missing it!" She hadn't realized it came out when it happened. After checking her plate carefully (she had been eating a bagel), the missing tooth was recovered. We placed the tooth in a bag hanging from the bedroom door and wrote a note to let the Tooth Fairy know. In the morning, Kit found 4 quarters.
