On Saturday, we sold cookies for the last time at Blackwing. The girls liked exploring the store with Rhiannon.

We were watching our Friday Family Movie, Spy Kids, and Kit was wiggling the other loose top front tooth. Before long, it was outta there!

Friday Fun

Today both girls were home from school, and we made name banners for the girls' newly separated bedrooms. Later, Kim and Brooklyn came to visit.

A Sunday in Lima

We got to catch up with the Collets and Gorenflos on Sunday at Amanda and Justin's new home in Lima. Just look at cute Brodie! We exchanged birthday gifts for the little ones, and Aunt Berchie and Uncle Jim had Easter baskets for the girls.

Snowy Morning

This was a winter of little snow, but this morning was beautiful while it lasted.

ECC Spring Family Celebration

I was glad to be part of Winnie's spring celebration at the Early Childhood Center. We enjoyed hearing a story about a hedgehog, planting carrots, and singing silly preschool songs.

The Missing Tooth

Tooth #3 is gone! Kit was eating a sandwich, and out it came!

Little Chefs

This morning the little chefs whipped up some sugar cookies. They used treats from their snack basket to decorate.

Cookie Booth

Today we sold cookies in front of the Delaware Walmart. In two hours, we sold about 60 boxes. We did better when we were allowed to sell inside, but we were happy to do as well as we did.

Winnie Ballerina

I got to watch the last 5 minutes of Winnie's dance class on Friday. She dances beautifully! Somehow I managed to pull off bringing along a surprise rose for her, which she didn't see until I gave it to her at the end of class. She was so excited!

Bowling & Birthday Celebration

On Saturday and Sunday morning, we were in Kettering with the Jumps. On Saturday, we all went bowling - a first for Kit and Winnie. They loved it! Then we celebrated the birthdays of Kit, Winnie, and Meg by making pizzas, enjoying cake, and opening presents. The little people had so much fun playing together! Later, Teri helped Kit work on sewing basics.

Lunch with Kit at School

Winnie and I surprised Kit by showing up for lunch at her school. We enjoyed the time with her and seeing how it is in the lunchroom. The kids have to wear their coats because right after they eat, they head outside.

Make It Monday: Recorders

Today we went to the new craft store in town, Pat Catan's. The girls found these recorders and brought them home to decorate with permanent markers. Heaven help me!

Sweet Valentines

The girls spent the night with Grandma Lovie & Grandpa on Saturday night. Thanks to craft time with Grandma, they made these treasures for us.

Doc Teaches Preschoolers

Winnie offered up Doc's anatomy expertise to Mrs. Warnock, and she invited Doc to share with the class. Winnie was so proud! She introduced him and added, "My mom smells good. No, maybe that's Doc because he took a shower."

Doc did a great job making the segment interactive, and several kids stayed eager to learn through their free time. This wasn't the case for Winnie though. As usual, she ended her school time at the writing table.

Disney On Ice ~ Let's Celebrate

We had lots of fun at Disney On Ice ~ Let's Celebrate at Nationwide Arena. The girls put together their matching outfits and donned high heels for the special occasion. This year's show included several of their favorite princesses: Mulan, Belle, Ariel, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty.

It was dance observation day, and Kit was a beauty to behold. And oops, we forgot her shoes :)
