Winnie's Final Dance Class

Today Winnie had her last dance class of the season - with Miss Naomi. She did a great job remembering the moves to Beauty and the Beast's "Be Our Guest."

Mother's Day 2016

I enjoyed a beautiful Mother's Day with Kit, Winnie, and Seth. They had loving cards and gifts for me, and the girls made me treasures at church, too. We had lunch with Grandma Lovie & everyone before heading home.

187 Grandview Ave.

We officially closed on the sale of our home at 187 Grandview Ave. today. It's been a great home that we have enjoyed, and I will always cherish the memories of times we had here. I am proud of all the love it has been given in the four years that we have been here. I'll miss this cozy little home and the Bargers next door!

Ladies Banquet

We enjoyed having Grandma Lovie, Amy, Jeanne, and Reid with us at the Ladies Banquet at Peace on Sunday. The theme was "God don't make no junk," and the girls loved making flowers out of aluminum cans.

Winnie's Last Day of Preschool

Winnie's preschool years came to an end today. She had her last day of class followed by a celebration at Blue Limestone. We will miss the school and kind teachers.

Digging for Worms

Daisy Tea

Kit and I had a lovely time at her Daisy Tea. The middle picture is of Kit and her pal Addelyn. While we were enjoying our date, Winnie and Doc had one of their own. They went to the Dollar Tree and McDonalds and spent time building.

Earth Day

Fun Day Sunday

The girls made adorable celery-stamped owls on Sunday. We took our lunch to the school and ate underneath the pine trees.

Carlisle Art Show

Carlisle Elementary held an art show on Friday night. Kit was so excited to show us her pinch pot.

Backpacking

Seth and I got away for an overnight backpacking trip to Zaleski on Wednesday and Thursday. We enjoyed amazing weather/lots of sunshine! 

Kindergarten Screening

Today Winnie had her kindergarten screening at Walnut Creek Elementary (but will be going to Arrowhead Elementary). She's smart as can be, and once we get these glasses just right, she should be all set. She still has trouble with her right eye. It's pretty weak, but she wasn't responding well to the original lens, so the Dr. decreased the strength. Now I'm not so sure it's strong enough. But we will keep trying.

Blanket Fort

Winnie set up a daycare inside her blanket fort, and  Doc stopped by to visit.

Peace's Egg Hunt

Our church hosted a post-Easter egg hunt on Saturday. The girls had fun crafting and collecting eggs.

Marmon Valley Farm

We caught up with Aunt Berchie, Uncle Jim, Grace and Gage on Friday. After eating lunch, we went to Marmom Valley Farm where the children rode ponies named Montana and Bailey. We were lucky to get the rides in before the rain came.
