We're so glad that we got our hot tub! Seth added a few rows of pavers to accommodate it. Now, more than ever, our patio is our favorite place to hang out.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to Seth! We celebrated him throughout the weekend by checking off items he put on his wish list: special food, movie & popcorn, and a trip to the farmers' market.

Shale Hollow

Seth and I love Shale Hollow. Emerson is now spending more time outside of the backpack than inside of it during hikes.

Kit Donates Her Hair

Kit once again donated a good 12" to help another child. <3

Dance Recital

The dance season wrapped up with the girls going back into the Arts Castle (lots or precautions taken) to videotape. This was a nice closure for their efforts in virtual classes. We're looking forward to seeing their unique recital.

Emerson's 3rd Birthday Party

Emerson enjoyed his simple 3rd birthday party on the patio. The girls and I decorated, and Daddy did the grilling. As you can see from his big smile, Emerson loved that it was his turn to be the recipient of the "Happy Birthday" song.

Emerson - May 2020

Emerson has been a trooper during our time of working from home. At his request, he started taking naps on his bedroom floor. He likes playing with Play-Doh, watching forget-me-nots grow, building with blocks, playing outside after lunch, going for bike rides on the back of daddy's bike, and spending time in the basement.

5th Grade Graduate

We're proud of you, Kit! Congratulations on your 5th grade graduation and award for always being a good friend to everyone. Your kindness is a gift.

The traditional "Clap Out" wasn't what you expected, but we're glad your special day could still take place.
