Winnie created the finger-painted picture and tissue collage at school. Kit made the snowflakes entirely on her own, and she even mixed paint to create the colors she wanted.

Make It Monday: Pumpkin Carving

Today we carved pumpkins. It's amazing how far the girls have come in being able to handle pumpkin slime. We tried something new and cut out the bottom instead of the top...definitely recommend!

Swaisgood Halloween Party

This year's Swaisgood Halloween Party was at Larry and Deloris' house. We had fun meeting some of the youth that Jess works with and visiting with everyone. Larry asked Father Seth if he wanted to bless the food, but the good father deferred to the kind host.

We decorated mini pumpkins before going to the Campbell's to visit.

An Autumn Sunday

On Sunday, we at at Hunan after church and then stopped by Grandma Lovie and Big Grandpa's to see their new motorhome. I like the photo Winnie took of Kit and Big Grandpa driving. We took a ride in the camper and stopped by Timmy's Pumpkin Patch. Later we headed out to Jeff's favorite place for a fire.

Soccer Medals

We stopped by the Rec Center today to pick up our soccer medals. Don't let these smiles fool you: we're all relieved that soccer is over :)

Today we made flower delivery trucks, courtesy of Lowe's and Girl Scouts.

Fall Fest

On Sunday, I took the girls around the corner to the Fall Fest at Miller's Country Gardens. Winnie loved petting the goats. One of the staff was kind to take us on a hayride even though the event was wrapping up for the day.
